The content of the game:

The final project for Construct 2 we’re making a game called “Case File” ,the game is based on a detective game.The game type we use is sidescroll which moves the background and following camera  when the player walks.Achieving through the next level of the game you must answer a simple trivia question about facts,if the player answered it wrong therefore the player will die and will be restarted to the first level again.There are 2 sets of question and each set of question has 5 simple question,the two question are based on chemistry and biology in order to make the player by not also having fun but also learning.The player must use the arrow key on the keyboard to move forward and backward,mouse is used to interact any object in the level and also clicking the correct answer for the trivia question.The game also gives you clue to  where to go to the next .It also has a dialogue when the players talk to other npc in the game it will show you the dialogue and text box to see they’re conversation and story as the game goes on.There will be a battle system which is an rpg but with a twist,the rpg system is heavily based on logic and also trivia question.For example the player must choose the correct action to damage the enemy or lowering their damage to the player,there will be three different action you can choose from.Each sets of trivia question will have a diffrent unique variety of attacks based of what enemy the player is up against.

The main plot of the game:

You as a player will play as a semi-retired famous private-investigator as John Doe.John Doe will be tasked with a new partner named Watson.The story takes place in New York city.The plot took back in 1989 with the highest crime rate in that year.John Doe need to solve a puzzle to get a clue of the identity of the killer.In the midnight while John Doe was asleep while watching tv a phone rang beside him he woke up and answered the phone after John Doe heard that his best friend found death John Doe came back to work as a detective again.There will also be a flashback about John Doe so that the player can know what John Doe.John Doe and Watson also needs to solve the case by using their biology,chemistry and history knowledge to get the clue As the story progress the  identity of the serial will become open slowly.

I’m contributing the team by implementing the game function and also designing the game story level.
